I don't know how you did it,
And I've stayed up many nights beside you as you slept,
Trying to figure it out.
All I know is that I met you, and without trying,
You captivated me completely.
And my wandering heart bound itself to you.
Even as my mind distracted itself with doubts,

My heart knew where it belonged.
